Leadership Grounded in Operations and Execution

Dr. Lai serves as Managing Director of APB, providing overall leadership, strategic direction and executive oversight across the company’s international operations, sourcing activities, consulting services and business development.

He brings over 40 years of industrial and consulting experience in Asia and North America, together with a strong academic and professional background in artificial intelligence, analytics, logistics and technology. His experience spans industrial operations, international trade, professional education and the application of AI to business and global commerce.

Rather than managing day-to-day transactions, Dr. Lai focuses on the company’s overall direction, major commercial decisions, operational strategy and development of APB’s consulting and AI capabilities. He also provides senior-level guidance on complex client engagements and international business initiatives.

Agnes leads APB’s marketing, corporate communication and relationship development activities, serving as a key link between the company, its customers, suppliers and international business partners.

With a double-major degree background in Human Resources and Communication, she brings a people-focused approach to relationship management, stakeholder engagement and corporate representation. She is responsible for strengthening customer and supplier relationships, developing APB’s market presence and ensuring consistent communication across the company’s international network.

Agnes also leads event management, online trade shows and digital promotional initiatives, creating opportunities for suppliers and buyers to connect across markets. As one of APB’s principal spokespersons, she represents the company in external communications, business events and promotional activities.

Klonny leads APB’s global sourcing activities, helping overseas clients identify and secure reliable raw-material suppliers, with a primary focus on chemicals for the paints and coatings industries.

He brings over eight years of North American sourcing experience and works closely with manufacturers and customers across international markets. His responsibilities include supplier identification, commercial negotiation, shipment coordination and ongoing supplier relationship management.

A key part of his role is monitoring the logistics of each shipment and maintaining close contact with factories throughout the supply process. He also conducts regular factory visits to help ensure product quality and production standards meet client expectations.

Klonny is also responsible for continuously developing new partnership, dealership and distribution opportunities for both suppliers and customers, strengthening APB’s global sourcing and commercial network.
